Great accommodation in a very convenient location at very reasonable prices. Catherine and Jan were great hosts, happy to offer lots of information and make my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
The room I stayed in was spacious, cosy and clean with TV and free Wi-Fi. The place was equipped with all the appliances (washing machine, dryer, microwave, iron etc.) and kitchenware. The place is certainly suitable for everyone, from students to older people and couples.
The house was on quiet road conveniently located at just 5 minute walk from the train station from which in 15 minutes you can reach central London.
The area is very safe with plenty of shops, pubs and supermarkets open until late.
Overall, an excellent solution for both short and long term stays in the London area.

Dear Catherine and Jan,
My stay at London-Rooms was a great and memorable experience. The self-catered kitchens allowed me to feel like a true local during my stay, and the quick transport links to central London from Barking (on the sleek new C2C trains to Tower Hill) offered me all the amenities of central London, without the expense of the chintzy central London tourist hotels.

The room I stayed in was large, en suite, with bedding provided. I was able to stay linked to the world with a fast, free WiFi connection and a television. And the environs of Barking and east London, I discovered, also have much to offer. I spent some countless hours exploring the station parade shops and the outdoor market while shopping for groceries and other essentials.

But what unexpectedly made my stay memorable was getting to know my fellow housemates. I shared travel tips (and stories!) with other guests, but I was still able retreat to the privacy of my own room after a night-long chat. I got much more than a room with a bed, I got a whole and complete travel experience!

London-Rooms gets my highest recommendation for any traveler and visitor to London.

Catherine and Jan provide accommodation at reasonable rates which can suit both individual and corporate clients.
Rooms are spacious and clean and each of them has TV and Wi-fi access. Close proximity to Barking Station and good access to City makes it an ideal place for both holidaymakers and business travelers.
Catherine and Jan are lovely people who make you feel at home any time you come, therefore, I use their rooms whenever I am in London.

How are you? I hope fine.
We keep very good memories of our stay in London in August and we're actually thinking of coming back for some shopping :)
I have just investigated the timetables and price lists of the low cost airlines and came to the conclusion taht 26 Feb - March 2010 would be the best. This is Friday-Tuesday. I haven't made any bookings yet and the date may be changed from about 24 Feb to about 3 March; I want it to include the weekend anyway. Maybe it could be another weekend too but not around St Valentine's Day, because the airlines charge ridiculously high prices for that period. Would you have any flat available in these dates?

Similarly as before, we are interested in a twin or double room with private bathroom and kitchenette. What would be the price, please? And what about the heating please - is it strong and included in the price? I must say that there seems to be a difference between the UK and Poland in this respect, because we are used to have at least about 20 centigrade in the room and even more in a bathroom.

Dear Catherine,
We are at Liljaskolan and we are planning to send students to London in March 2010, and we wonder if you have an appartment to let.

This time we will send 3-4 students, and they are all girls. They are going to start their work placement March 1st, so they would arrive a couple of days earlier. The period of their work placement is four weeks. We have always been pleased with the accommodation you offer, so we hope that you have rooms for them.
